Freeway Previews Song With Beanie Sigel, Raekwon & Ghostface Killah

Freeway has teased a new song featuring Beanie Sigel, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah and possibly even Lil Wayne.

The Philadelphia rapper took to Instagram on Tuesday (September 3) to preview an epic posse cut remix of “Ringin,” which appeared on his recent Stimulus Package 2 album with producer Jake One.

The video shows Freeway nodding his head to the track in the studio before the camera pans to Beans, with the former Roc-A-Fella and State Property rappers trading rhymes over the thumping, horn-laced beat.

In his caption, Philly Freezer hinted that Sigel was just one of many MCs he’s tapped for the remix: “Hey everyone, I hope you’re prepared! The game is over!! the ‘Ringin’ Remix! Is on the way.

“@ghostfacekillah @raekwon @beaniesigelsp & I may hit a few other [ninja emoji]’s I might shoot it to @liltunechi Let’s Go Keep The #Stimuluspackage2 alive #stateproperty #roclafamilia @jakeuno #fta.”

The original version of “Ringin’” hardly lacks lyrical fire power as it features a guest verse from Jadakiss.

Reflecting on his experiences with shady record labels and deceitful lawyers, The LOX legend raps on the song: “Guess it’s the gift and the curses / All about perception, making a big purchase / They don’t have to know us, they just Googlin’ their searches / I ain’t been home since the day after Verzuz.”

The track also received a slick, black-and-white visual makeover brimming with 1980s New York nostalgia.

In addition to Kiss, Stimulus Package 2 — released in July — boasts more big-name assists from Black Thought, Conway The Machine, Symba, Sauce Walka and Peedi Crack.

The album serves as the long-awaited sequel to Freeway and Jake One’s first collaborative project, which arrived to critical acclaim in 2010.

“I just think the chemistry is there. With me and Jake, we got a good chemistry and the same thing with me and Just [Blaze],” Freeway said of his production partner in an interview that year.

“When you got a chemistry it’s just good, everything comes together perfect. The songs were coming out beautiful and they just feel good.”
