If you’re looking for a quiet Valentines’ evening at home watching a romantic movie cozying up with your significant other; streaming on Amazon Prime might be your idea of entertainment. Then check out the 2017 film, “It Happened One Valentines.”(Marvista Entertainment).

The cast stars James Maslow as rock star and Allie’s love interest, Caleb Greene, Brittany Underwood as the female counterpart rocker Carson Peet,  Haley Webb as Allie Rusch, Tommy Savas as Matty Sellers Allie’s friend and Carson’s love interest, Lindsay Hartley as Caleb and Carson’s manager Vivian Cartwright, Jessica Lee Keller as Kendra, Cathy Baron as Keeley, and Courtney Gains as Freddy Craig.

The story follows ambitious tabloid reporter Allie Rusch (Haley Webb) who is recruited by music manager, Vivian Cartwright (Lindsay Hartley) to play cupid to two famous pop musicians Caleb and Carson, and run a story in honor of Valentines Day on her rocker best friend Carson Peet (Brittany Underwood), who is rumored in the headlines to have a romance with male rocker Caleb Greene (James Maslow) but the story takes a surprising turn when the most unlikely couples fall in love during an anti-Valentines party and the male lead rocker Caleb has his sights set on Allie and Carson has her sights set on Matty Allie’s live-in friend.

I thought the film was very clever and sets the mood to start a perfect Valentines’ Day weekend! Check out the trailer on YouTube here:
