Krusce
There is a Studio for Research on the Art of Acting in Slovenia, a small village of Krusce. This studio works as an institute for cultural activities devoted to artistic, educational, research, and residency activities in the field of acting. Since 1996 Studio has realized numerous international projects and hosted a number of distinguished acting teachers, experts in psychodrama, and artists from all over the world. Krušče hosted performing arts, film, music, fine arts, and literature artists and experts from all Europe, Russia, USA, Australia etc. Besides that importance are also given to the research and educational activities in psychodrama and psychotherapy.
This year’s little theatre festival of psychodrama in Slovenia, in the Studio on the Art of Acting in Krušče, had to be canceled because of the coronavirus outbreak. In spite of this, the founders of the festival Sue Daniel, Vladimir Milošević and Tomi Janežič will hold two online 5-days workshops. Both workshops will be held in English online via Zoom every day – from August 18th to 22nd. There will be encounters with artists and an artistic program for the participants like every year, among other events the premiere of Skin, an online performance directed by Slovenian theatre director Tomi Janežič.
There will be an Australian guest attending/co-founder, in spite of everything. Sue Daniel is an internationally acclaimed psychodrama psychotherapist, trainer, and supervisor, one of the pioneers of Australian psychodrama. She is returning to Krušče, to Slovenia in order to direct a five-days workshop for beginners and experience psychodramatists and psychotherapists. https://psychodrama-institute-melbourne.com/
A Slovenian theatre director Tomi Janežič (European Certificate of Psychotherapy) holds a post as a Full Professor of Theatre Directing. He is also a psychodrama psychotherapist and an internationally acclaimed expert in the field of acting, who has explored applications of psychodrama techniques to artistic and art-pedagogical processes for many years.
