Everyone Kanye West Has Had Beef With Over The Years: Drake, Peppa Pig, and More

Kanye West – Runaway (Full-length Film) this work made him a genius.

Where’s the beef? Over the years, Kanye West has remained outspoken about his opinions — and he isn’t afraid to stand up against naysayers.

While the Yeezy designer and Drake were once close friends and collaborators, the duo’s bond quickly faded after Pusha-T called out the Canada native on his “Infrared” single in 2018, which was produced by West.

“Then, the first album drops,” Drake recalled during an interview on HBO’s The Shop in October 2018. “And, of course, there’s a diss song toward me that you produced, that’s talking about writing? I was just there with you as friends helping you, and now you’re dissing me. So I’m like, man, this is dark.”

Since then, the pair has continued to go toe-to-toe whether they’re calling one another out via social media or in a verse on one of their tracks.

Drake even alleged that the Illinois native leaked the news of his son Adonis’ birth before he officially announced it.

“I tell him I’m having trouble with my son’s mother. We had a conversation,” the Degrassi alum told The Shop, referring to his ex Sophie Brussaux.“I wake up, and all these dates are out … Then the next two days, whatever, I wake up now to this text from him, passive, like, ‘Yo, I love you brother.’”

After years of silence on the matter, the “Gold Digger” musician seemingly reignited their beef after including a shady callout to the “One Dance” performer on his 10th albumDONDA, which was released in August 2021.

West’s “Pure Souls” single included the lyric, “It’s gotta be God’s plan / Man, I swear these boys keep playin’ / We gon’ have to square up then,” which eagle-eyed fans thought it referenced the bad blood between the musicians.

Drake seemingly tossed shade right back weeks later on his Certified Lover Boy LP. Though the “Hotline Bling” musician didn’t call out West by name, he did reference a rapper who’s also a designer on his “7 am On Bridle Path” song.

“Told you I’m aimin’ straight for the head / Not aiming to please,” Drake rapped on the track. “I can give a f—k about who designing your sneakers and tees / Have somebody put you on a Gildan and you play with my seed.”

Drake’s not the only star taking shots at West. Shortly after the DONDA release, the official Twitter account for Peppa Pig seemingly shared a shady message for the father of four — he shares NorthSaintChicago, and Psalm with Kim Kardashian — in a now-deleted message.

“Peppa didn’t need to host listening parties in Mercedes-Benz Stadium to get that .5,” the account for the children’s TV series wrote at the time, alongside side-by-side screenshots of reviews of DONDA and Peppa’s Adventures: The Album.

Though West never publicly addressed his so-called beef with the animated series, he has commented on several of his famous feuds with other big names in the entertainment industry.https://31d7264238e4bc8e6f5e20ec0beb56f9.safeframe.googlesyndication.com/safeframe/1-0-38/html/container.html

Drake

While the two rappers were once good friends, the goodwill between the pair soon faded after West produced Pusha T’s “Infrared” track in May 2018, which took several jabs at the “In My Feelings” rapper. In response, the Canada native shared a savage screenshot via social media of a $100,000 invoice he sent to the designer for “promotional assistance and career-reviving” after the single’s release.

The musicians continued to share shady snubs about one another in new songs and on social media until they seemingly made amends in November 2021. West offered to collaborate on a live performance and said he wanted to end the beef. They shared photos together on their Instagram pages later that month.

Peppa Pig

Pitchfork initially rated Peppa Pig’s sophomore album, Peppa’s Adventures: The Album, a 6.5 in 2021, which is 0.5 higher than what the music website rated West’s 10th LP.

“Peppa didn’t need to host listening parties in Mercedes-Benz Stadium to get that .5,” the children’s TV series seemingly called out West’s listening parties in a now-deleted tweet after the album’s release.BRANDED CONTENTPaid for by

Taylor Swift

West initially clashed with the “Love Story” crooner at the 2009 MTV Music Video Awards when he interrupted her acceptance speech for Best Female Video, noting that Beyoncé should have won instead. While the duo eventually buried the hatchet, their grudge was renewed when the rapper sang that he “made that bitch famous,” referring to the “Cardigan” singer on his 2016 track, “Famous.”

Ray J

West has taken jabs at Kardashian’s ex Ray J in several songs over the years. In 2016’s “Highlights,” he name-dropped the “One Wish” performer and referenced his former relationship with the Skims mogul.

“I bet me and Ray J would be friends if we didn’t like the same bitch / Yeah, he might have hit it first, only problem is I’m rich,” West rapped at the time.https://31d7264238e4bc8e6f5e20ec0beb56f9.safeframe.googlesyndication.com/safeframe/1-0-38/html/container.html

Justin Timberlake

The Yeezy founder name-dropped the “SexyBack” crooner during the 2015 MTV VMAs, recounting a past encounter between the two at the GRAMMYs.

“The contradiction is that I do fight for artists but in that fight, somehow, was disrespectful to artists,” West said at the time. “I didn’t know how to say the right thing, the perfect thing, I sat at the GRAMMYs and saw Justin Timberlake and Cee-Lo Green lose. Gnarls Barkley and the FutureSex/LoveSound album, and bro, Justin, I’m not trying to put you on blast but I saw that man in tears, bro. And I was thinking he deserved to win Album Of the Year. And the small box that we are of entertainers of the evening, how could you explain that?”

At the time, the Tennessee native jokingly tweeted back, “Kanye is so cute, y’all.”

Jay-Z

While the Roc Nation founder mentored West for many years, the pair had a falling out after the “Yeezus” rapper upstaged the “Lover” singer’s VMA victory and name-dropped the “Crazy in Love” artist’s wife in his rant. Since then, the pair have shared jabs at one another, with the New York native calling out West on his 4:44 album in 2017. Afterward, West removed his entire discography from Jay-Z’s Tidal before Jay-Z admitted that the duo have a brotherly rivalry that July

Jimmy Kimmel

The Jimmy Kimmel Live! host got into a Twitter feud with West in 2013 after spoofing the rapper’s BBC interview, in which he claimed to be the “biggest” rock star.

“JIMMY KIMMEL IS OUT OF LINE TO TRY AND SPOOF IN ANY WAY THE FIRST PIECE OF HONEST MEDIA IN YEARS,” West tweeted at the time, alongside further expletive comments.

Before the feud was squashed in October 2017 when West appeared on the late night talk show, Kimmel revealed his excitement over getting in Twitter spats.

“I live for moments like that. When I got in a Twitter battle with Kanye, I was so happy,” Kimmel told GQ in February 2018. “My wife makes fun of me. She’s like, ‘You are so happy right now.’ I’m absolutely beaming. I feel very confident in a situation like that.”

Deadmau5

The DJ got into a heated Twitter exchange with West after the former presidential candidate shared a snap of the file-sharing site Pirate Bay, which had a link to Deadmau5’s editing software Serum pulled up.

“What the f— @kanyewest … Can’t afford serum?” Deadmau5 tweeted in March 2016. “Let’s start a Kickstarter to help @kanyewest afford a copy of Serum. … He needs a small loan of 200$ #prayforyeezy.”

The battle intensified as West dragged daughter North into the conversation, writing back, “Do you do birthday parties?? My daughter loves Minnie mouse.”https://31d7264238e4bc8e6f5e20ec0beb56f9.safeframe.googlesyndication.com/safeframe/1-0-38/html/container.html

Pete Davidson

The Saturday Night Live star began dating West’s estranged wife, Kim Kardashian, in October 2021, which seemingly upset the fashion designer.

“God saved me from the crash just so I can beat Pete Davidson’s ass,” West rapped on his “My Life Was Never Eazy” track, which was released in January 2022.

One month later, West seemingly addressed the love triangle on his “City of Gods” track, rapping, “This afternoon, a hundred goons pullin’ up to SNL (What?) / When I pull up, it’s dead on arrival. They act like they love you, they don’t even like you / They throw a party, won’t even invite you / I seen the same thing happen to Michael / You Black and you rich, they sayin’ you psycho (What?), it’s like a cycle.”

Davidson has not publicly commented on the alleged bad blood, but a source told Us in December 2021 that he was “not worried about Kanye trying to get back with Kim.”https://31d7264238e4bc8e6f5e20ec0beb56f9.safeframe.googlesyndication.com/safeframe/1-0-38/html/container.html

Kid Cudi

West claimed that the Ohio native would not appear on his Donda 2 album because of his close friendship with “you know who,” seemingly alluding to Pete Davidson.

“Too bad I don’t wanna be on ur album u f—in dinosaur hahaha,” Cudi wrote via Instagram comment in February 2022. “Everyone knows I’ve been the best thing about ur albums since I met u. Ima pray for u brother.”

Cudi continued via Twitter: “We talked weeks ago about this. You’re whack for flipping the script and posting this lie just for a look on the internet. You ain’t no friend. BYE.”BRANDED CONTENTPaid for by

Corey Gamble

https://youtu.be/PN76MIWA5Aw

The rapper came for Kris Jenner’s boyfriend Corey Gamble in February 2022 when he reshared an article claiming that Corey Gamble cheated on Kris Jenner while at a club. A source exclusively told Us Weekly that “this is a false narrative about Corey.”

West continued to go after his estranged mother-in-law’s beau the following day.

“God has a plan to remove the godless Corey needed to never be here anyway,” the “Praise God” rapper claimed via Instagram. “And I think he’s a nice person Not a great person A nice person who used to be around Puff’s family then got around Justin Bieber and then when Kris [Jenner] got divorced he slid in He became the tv version of a father figure and as he always called [himself] ‘a REAL n—ga’ He once told my wife he knew what music she should be listening to So when I seen him a week later I had him removed from my daughters birthday party.”

West further alleged that “we” have never met Gamble’s family and that he is responsible for getting estranged wife Kim Kardashian “linked with the liberals in a deep way.

So Many More

West shared a screenshot with a list of his feuds via Instagram in February 2022, and he added that the list — which included Amber Rose, Travis Scott, Harriet Tubman, South Park, and George W. Bush, just to name a few — didn’t cover nearly all of his grudges.

“Come on guys… This list is twice as long 😅,” he quipped. The performer suggested adding Apple, Spotify, Vivendi, Universal, Lucien Grange, Tik Tok, Black History Month, Obama, “the whole cast of SNL,” Hillary Clinton, “the Devil himself Corey Gamble,” Jeff Bezos, Charlamagne Tha God, Disney, “Librals” and “of course Skete” — meaning Pete Davidson — in addition to “any and all corny shit in general.”

“Can somebody from Chicago let these people know what Skete meant when we was growing up It’s up for everybody!!!!! 😵😵😵😱😱😱😱 Wow. Being rich is fun!!!!” West added in his caption.Listen to Us Weekly’s Hot Hollywood as each week the editors of Us break down the hottest entertainment news stories! https://player.simplecast.com/4052b89e-4495-4278-bee8-fe2001194c67?dark=true&show=true
