There is an international call for art group exhibition for spring 2023 in Edinburgh, Scotland, UK April/May. Deadline is 15 of March 2023, there is no fee for submission. Accepted works registration/hanging fee are 100 GBP, and all works for sale will be subject to a gallery charge 40% of the sale price. An art organization “One With Everything” is looking for the artwork for exhibition in central Edinburgh. The exhibition wants to evoke a big themes, and explore different issues, including the expanse between “individual and the universes”, “overlapping of time and space”, the dynamics between subjective and collective, the micro and macro cosmos, the tensions between ego and selflessness. All together very brought subjects. It consolidates experimental curation practices, in order to advance “the state of the art”. Artists are invited to submit abstract and representational works in any medium, by multiplicity expressive languages and communication mechanisms. The organization is looking for 2D and 3D physical, conceptual, short prose or poetry art work, audio visual and experimental media, technology based artworks, or maybe an interesting soundscapes. Paintings and prints should be less than 60×60 cm, 3D sculptures should not pass one cubic meter in volume, and larger works can be considered only as a part of a special arrangement. Preference are given to submissions made out of sustainable materials in order to make an environmental impact, there including reclaimed materials. Also, the preference is on original, non/derivative art with effective visual impact of transcendental aesthetic appeal. All this should carry a compelling messages. The themes should be unique, as well as materials and various techniques. The art will be consider as the intersection of several themes too. Some of themes taken into consideration are: I am or am I, enlightenment, infinity, boundlessness, transcendence, the mind and brain and neurons, artistic view at void, the sea, journeys, love, life, death, synchronicity, nature – planet Earth – wellness, the cosmos, frequencies, depths, migrations, recurrence, memories, dreams, evolution, tributes, extinction, transcendence, technology. Accepted artworks will be displayed at the exhibition, for the nominal hanging fee, which includes hanging, one page in the color catalogue a link to artist/web page/profile, a mention in the promotional exhibition promotional material, plus a certificate of participation.
Everything is happening in Edinburgh, at Wasps Studios, deadline is 18 of April 2023. There is no entry fee but there is a fee upon acceptance 100 GBP hanging fee and catalogue. Up to three images submitted are including name file with artist initials and title, in standard image formats (preferably JPG) and one text file including the name of the works submitted, with a short description of how the work addresses the mentioned themes and a short artist biography.
