Black people did not have a flag. In 1967 he thought about the Black American Flag. They designed it and they came up with a blunted sword. He sat down and talked about the flag. He thought about the musician and child on the inside. Everybody else had a flag. In a parade as a child, he started this journey and got it done. Story below
