Through her passion and hard work, Harrison ‘The indefatigable hair wizard’ became an inspiration to many but her haters couldn’t stand to her success

Destiny Harrison became an inspiration,  a mentor to aspiring beauticians and a role model to many young girls, despite having lots of people being inspired by her talent and exceptional and prodigious work ethic there was also an unwanted presence of those who were apparently consumed with jealousy, resentment and envy. Those people prowled in the shadows to take advantage of the young mother and successful woman entrepreneur. Before being brutally murdered, Destiny expressed her fear for her life when she was gunned down at her own Baltimore salon.

Apparently an untiring hair wizard, Destiny walked into her salon where she discovered the thugs, two filthy, thieving rats, one male, and one female robbing her of thousands of dollars’ worth of hair bundles, stomped her out and made off with $3000 worth of bundled hair extensions. Where Destiny was robbed and beaten at her own salon by two people who resided in the same area as her salon.

According to the eyewitnesses, two individuals entered the salon on with customers inside and most horrifically with her one-year old daughter present, and shot her in the head to death. After her death, Destiny Harrison’s mother Raquel said that,

“Destiny loved her daughter that was the light of her life. That was probably the most pivotal moment in her life, was her daughter.”

Being courageous enough to identify her tormenters before her death, Destiny Harrison made it clear that she feared for her life and her business and sadly in the end she didn’t receive the support or protection she needed.  Until the day, the police are still being blamed for not providing her the needed protection and not taking her fear of life seriously.

The search for criminals still continues till now

The search for the criminals is still continuing, and police have not arrested assailants and criminals for her brutal murder. Whereas, investigating on Harrison’s case, the police and family is still hoping that someone will come forward to share helpful information regarding the case and homicide detectives are requesting anyone with information to call 410-396-2100 or leave an unidentified tip with Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7 lockup.

According to the Police, there were other people too, who were the eyewitnesses inside the salon at the time of the shooting incident and hoping that someone comes forward with information. Col. Sheree Briscoe said,

“One or more suspects entered the salon while other people were there and shot Harrison, but would not address any of the accounts of what happened. I know that there is a conversation happening out [on] social media. That is not the investigative conversation,”

On the other hand, Harrison’s family continues to hope and echoes that plea.

“Somebody gotta know something. Please come forward. We need to get these demonic souls here. They need to pay for their crime. There’s no doubt about that, in the name of Jesus, there’s no doubt. We lost an angel due to tragedy that broke hearts all over Baltimore. We are asking that if anyone has any monetary donations we would greatly appreciate the help to lay my beautiful daughter in peace.”
