Navarro talks about how the original members of Jane’s Addition came back together (this time), what it means to be making new music again, and how they’ve grown as people while retaining what makes them special as a band. The guitarist talks about the missteps he feels they’ve all made throughout recent decades, the distractions of fame, and how Steely Dan helped him fall back in love with the guitar after he put his instrument down following the untimely death of Taylor Hawkins.

Elsewhere, Navarro shares his interest in WWII documentaries, archeology, and alien civilizations. He then discusses the influence of The Velvet Underground, as well as keeping up with bassist Chris Chaney now that he’s playing with AC/DC. Plus, he has some thoughts on the Consequence of Sound name…
