D.L. Hughley $156 million of Black Wealth has been stolen. How the government steals black wealth

Gentrification is a general term for the arrival of wealthier people in an existing urban district, a related increase in rents and property values, and changes in the district’s character and culture. The term is often used negatively, suggesting the displacement of poor communities by rich outsiders.

The risk of displacement due to gentrification makes this more difficult and as a result, imposes a social cost on the neighborhood. This cost is borne by the community as a whole and not by only those persons who are poor or those who are displaced.

They give grandmama $80,000 do rehab on that same old brick house and now it $500,000 move white people end to the house you said not worth nothing but $80,000. We not give grandma loans are nothing to fix up. Because black bodies are in it it in it it not worth nothing. That why realtors don’t want your pictures up when time to sell.
