The Critics’ Choice Awards 2022 was originally scheduled for Jan. 9 but it was postponed until March 13. Taye Diggs and Nicole Byer hosted the ceremony live at the Fairmont Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles. TV and film stars gathered in LA and London to celebrate the awards.
Belfast and West Side Story each had 11 nominations. Dune and The Power of the Dog each had 10. HBO’s Succession led the television categories with eight nominations, including Best Drama Series.
Celebrity presenters included: Serena Williams, Venus Williams, Mandy Moore, Joel McHale, Alan Kim, Maria Bakalova, Mayim Bialik, Ralph Macchio, Issa Rae (who presented the SeeHer Award to Halley Berry) and Jimmy Kimmel (who presented the Lifetime Achievement Award to Billy Crystal).
