Most recently, netizens have become upset with an “outdated” and even “cringey” script.

I don’t think you should be here. I’ll start getting bad thoughts about doing things I shouldn’t do. Thoughts that are cheap and low-class. These types of junk thoughts…

I do like junk food, though, so it’s fine to have these thoughts.

Netizens expressed in the comments how the dialogue was so outdated that it became comical and sounded more like something from the early 2000s. Netizens noted that insisting that physical contact is “cheap” and “low-class” is an outdated sentiment.

  • “Oh, seriously, this is hilarious, lol.”
  • “What’s going on, lol?”
  • “The female lead’s lines are even funnier, lol.”
  • “This feels like something from a novel I read 10 years ago.”
  • “Lol, no, 20 years ago.”
  • “Lol, this is seriously so funny, haha.”
  • “It’s just funny, lol. I have no expectations for this drama.”
  • “I’m only watching it because the lead is pretty.”
  • “Oh, seeing it like this, it’s even funnier.”

Many netizens also felt that the dialogue also doesn’t make sense for the age of the characters. One netizen wrote, “I mean, if the leads were college students or in their early 20s, maybe I’d get it… but they’re both in their 30s, and the female lead even had a guy she considered marrying, so why are they like this? Lol.”

However, this didn’t take away from the chemistry of the actors! Read more below.
