Conway The Machine & Ransom Announce Joint Album

Conway The Machine and Ransom will be barring up together on a surprise new joint album, coming very soon.

The two rappers, along with the project’s producer V Don, announced Chaos Is My Ladder on Tuesday (September 3).

The ten-song LP is set to be released on Friday (September 6). You can pre-save it on your streamer of choice here.

Check the announcement below.

In addition to his collaborator Ransom, Conway has a number of favorite rappers — a list he made public in an interview last month.

In early August, the former Griselda rapper stopped by The Drop 104.7 in Denver, CO, and was asked by The Maleman about his favorite spitters.

Conway laughed when he heard the prompt, and said: “I’m still gonna give you a top five, but I just wanna say that’s kind of unfair. We’ll never be able to get that right because I can name 20 dudes that’s top 5 worthy.

“Hands down, they top 5. But, for me, I’ma say the nicest pen, the nicest dudes. No order at all. [André] 3000, I’ma say Hov [JAY-Z], I really, really wanna say [2]Pac, but hold on, let me keep thinking. I wanna have Rae and Ghost as one, Raekwon and Ghostface [Killah], it’s a tie … I’m probably gonna go Tunechi [Lil Wayne] and 50 [Cent].”

Conway may have listed his five favorite MCs, but in his mind, there’s no one that has a pen game like his.

Back in May, he staked his claim as the best rapper alive with a teaser for his then-recently-released album Slant Face Killah — and it starred an unlikely pop star.

Narrated by the closing lines from the cult French film La Haine, much of the clip appears to be set in Paris and even included a cameo from Dua Lipa — who he met in the French capital last fall and called a “great friend.”

Posting the video on Instagram, the rapper boldly declared: “I really did it this time!!! I fucking did it!! I’m iller than all these n-ggas! I can’t wait for y’all to hear this new shit!! SFK FRIDAY.”

The teaser also featured appearances from Swizz Beatz, Busta Rhymes, Havoc, Tony Yayo, Dave East, Maino and Larry June.
