Color Climax – Vesa Peltonen

Color Climax

Vesa Peltonen enjoys exploring the unconscious, using a creative direction for his art that explores the inner world and trying to capture the associated images on canvas. His works are inspired by visionary art, psychedelia, surrealism, expressionism and pop art. Color Climax is an abstract painting with the same motivations.

Color Climax features blue, green, yellow and red colors. The yellow creates almost like a triangular object in which viewers will come in contact with from every angle of the art. If the observer starts with the top left and right corners, they will immediately be focused on the wavy yellow strokes across the center of the art. The painting is most fascinating viewing from the bottom right corner and then outward. The bold red color symbolizes the diffusion of energy, which would describe the inner phenomenon the artist is attempting to explore. The red energy appears to be transformed or diffused into a powerful yellow energy that touches all colors. This would suggest that if energy is moving in this way internally, then humanity has the ability to showcase the same positive energy on the outside.

The artist’s motivation is to discover what the workings of the inner world would look like.

Observers can apply the artistic composition to the real world by using and transferring their energy in positive directions.
