Coldplay Releases “My Universe” Featuring BTS

Coldplay is a pop/rock band that always brings their fans something unique to listen to. Each one of their songs take on its own life and take listeners to highly creative places. Over the last decade many of their singles have done well on the Billboard Charts and they have performed live at many significant events. Thanks to their collaboration with BTS, fans get to hear how their creativity sounds with K-pop vocals and performance (as of now the official lyric video is available on YouTube, the music video has not been released yet).

The last collaboration that was a hit for the band occurred seven years ago when they released “A Sky Full of Tears” featuring Avicii. The song reached No. 10 on the Billboard Hot 100. Their latest collaboration with BTS, “My Universe”, is slated to land the band a top 5 single due to the popularity of K-pop and the success of BTS.

“My Universe” was produced by Max Martin and features both English and Korean lyrics. Coldplay performed the song on Thursday as well as a few other unreleased songs during a 90-minute concert. Their new album Music of the Spheres has a release date of Oct. 15.
