The Chrystul Kizer case is extremely important to our judicial system. She spent two years in jail after killing the man responsible for holding her against her will in order to be a part of human trafficking.
Community organizations paid for the 19-year-olds bond of $400,000.
Kizer also detailed how she met the accuser and how he abused her.
The abuser has been in trouble with the law before by trying to entice underage girls to spend time and take illegal drugs with him.
The justice system needs to make changes in order to protect these women in the future.
