Cardi B Details ‘Freak Accident’ That Almost Caused Miscarriage

Cardi B has shared more details on the “freak accident” that landed her in hospital and almost caused her to miscarry her third child.

Talking on X Spaces, Cardi said: “I was going down the stairs and I slipped a little. I practically fell, but I was trying to prevent myself from falling, so I was holding myself on the railing. My foot still slipped and I kind of busted my ass.”

She added: “I felt a weird jerk, like a pop, and I couldn’t get up really.”

The Bronx rap star further detailed her injuries, saying: “I noticed that I couldn’t really walk, like I was feeling pain in my, I don’t know, in the lower of my stomach.”

Cardi said she then took a nap but when she woke up, “I couldn’t move my bottom at all. Just moving my feet was hurting the bottom of my stomach. I couldn’t move. I felt like paralyzed.”

After phoning for an ambulance, Cardi said: “I tore a ligament in my pelvis and it’s right where my baby’s head is at.”

“I dilated and I was having contractions for every two minutes for a whole 24 hours,” she added. “So they had to monitor me and I was in a lot of pain. I couldn’t move for two days straight.”

Cardi B had previously said that the pain from the accident was so severe that she needed morphine.

“And that little thing almost cost me my little one to come. But it didn’t. Yesterday I was feeling good. I came home, but I came home high as a kite,” she said.

“Today, I woke up sober, honey. I’m dying. If I don’t feel good in four hours, I’m going to the hospital and I don’t give a fuck. I’ma exaggerate this shit so I can get more morphine. Morphine me down! I don’t give a damn [laughs].”

Cardi only announced she was pregnant with her third child last week. On the same day, it was also reported that she had filed for divorce from Offset for a second time.

The Migos rapper has not yet commented on fathering another child with Cardi or her accident, although he did hit out at an unspecified “sucka” in a cryptic social media post earlier this week.
