BTS Releases “Butter (Hotter Remix)” Music Video

BTS has released a new music video for their fans with “Butter (Hotter Remix)”. The new version of the song is more of a dance/pop record that is intended to make it more light-hearted and fun to sing along with.

The official music video made its debut on YouTube on May 20 and it already has over 250 million views. In the remix they switch up some of the production elements, creating new visuals which include new choreography and a more pop sound. The remix shows RM, Suga, J-Hope, Jung Kook, V, Jimin and Jin each taking the spotlight and then collaborating on dance choreography by the end of the song. The hotter remix also includes some outtakes as a humorous component of the music video.

“Butter” is the group’s second English-language song after its first, “Dynamite” was released last year. BTS has performed “Butter” on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and the 2021 Billboard Music Awards, where the group won four awards.

BTS also announced Muster Sowoozoo, a two-day online streaming event, that will celebrate the group’s eighth anniversary. The event takes places on June 13th and 14th.

As K-pop continues to grow as a genre, BTS remains one of its most important performers. Their success is breaking barriers for other K-pop groups that want to reach an audience outside of South Korea. After reflecting on the fact that this group has been together for eight years, it may be a surprise to their international fanbase. The group gained many fans after they started making songs in English, but the majority of them have supported their music when it was entirely performed in Korean-language. There are millions of Millennials and Generation Z fans that have been apart of the eight-year journey by connecting to the band through social media and YouTube. Even though the band members are young, they’ve been making and performing music for quite some time. They are likely to continue making history, breaking records and leading a genre of music to an international audience.

In addition to the release of the remix music video, BTS and McDonald’s released a BTS Meal on the restaurant’s menu and its available around the world. It is a 10-piece chicken McNuggets, with fries, a drink and two different kinds of special edition sauces-sweet chili and cajun. The sweet chili sauce starts out calm and flavorful and becomes spicier a few moments later. The cajun sauce is milder and has a great taste as well.

BTS is not only pioneering a music genre, they are providing so much content for radio, TV, video sharing platforms and social media; it has created a phenomena internationally in much the same way as the The Beatles did when they came to America and other countries outside of Britain. BTS is essentially the new generation’s version of the The Beatles and they will continue to create groundbreaking music for the genre in ways that resonate with all of their fans around the world. The sky is the limit for the singing group, and there are so many directions that the band could go into in the future like creating music for film, theatre and other artistic genres.
