Bre Tiesi Doubles Down On Being ‘Done’ With Having Kids

Bre Tiesi has no plans to give baby Legendary Love a sibling in the near future! The “Selling Sunset” star disclosed her plans to close the door on having any more babies after her 2-year-old son.

Bre Tiesi welcomed Legendary Love Cannon with actor Nick Cannon in 2022 during their on-and-off relationship. The duo are not currently together but remain great co-parents to their son.

The 33-year-old revealed her decision on the new season of “Selling Sunset,” as she shared that her son had picked up a new habit, and it is giving an attitude.

According to Tiesi, her son now tells her “No more pictures, Mommy,’ with the finger in the face. ‘No more pictures, Mommy.”

Her co-star Jason Oppenheim then asked Tiesi if she was done having kids, which Tiesi answered in the affirmative. “One and done?” Oppenheim queried her further, and Tiesi reiterated, “Without question, yes,” per PEOPLE.

While her decision may seem surprising and a direct contrast to that of her baby daddy, Tiesi explained that she loves being a mom to her son, but the pressures of work-life balance were getting to her.

The mom-of-one noted that she finds it difficult to juggle life as a real estate broker and motherhood, which has caused her to suffer a great deal of “insane mom guilt.”

“I love my son, but it’s a lot balancing a career and feeling like you have any life at all or any identity at all,” Tiesi declared. 

She continued that adding another kid to the mix would be unfair as she already battles the feeling of not doing enough for her son, adding, “So how do you have another one?”

On how Cannon shares his time with all 12 of his kids, Tiesi disclosed that they all make it work and “he manages it really well,” which is why “no one ever hears anything because we’re all happy.”

She described the actor as a good person who really cares, always wants to be there for everybody, and never messes up the plan. “It makes it easier when you’re doing things because you know he’s gonna make the effort and he’s gonna show up,” Tiesi added.

Despite not being married to Cannon, Tiesi does not consider herself a single mother. As reported by The Blast, she explained her stance on an episode of “Nice and Neat The Podcast” in 2022.

Tiesi, who answered no when she was asked by one of the two male hosts, said, “I call myself a co-parenting mom- a single mom is what I grew up with my mom. I’m not a single mom. I’m a co-parenting mom.”

She continued that someone shares the responsibility of raising her child with her, and the “somebody is extremely active” in her child’s life, adding that she knew what she was doing when she chose to have a child with him.

Tiesi has always kept an open book on her journey through motherhood, including the struggles.

Last October, The Blast reported that the “Selling Sunset” star revealed that her postpartum journey was complicated, and she had little control over her mental health, her emotions, or everything around her. She noted:

“You can’t stop yourself, and I think that was what makes it so scary. Cause you’re like, What’s wrong with me? Like, nothing’s wrong. Like, I have this beautiful baby. And why am I crying? And I don’t cry. Like, what the hell’s wrong with me?’ Like, you can’t get it together.”

Tiesi also noted that she believes society does not equip women with the right knowledge about handling the realities surrounding childbirth. The agent stated that motherhood is coated with lies and people “don’t really tell you how hard it is and everything that comes with it and all of that.”

The star shared that her healthy lifestyle and staying grounded before welcoming her baby held her together during her emotional postpartum journey.

The business mogul spoke on the physical changes that occurred on her body before and after her pregnancy journey with throwback and current images showing her tummy scars.

She soon found solace in body sculpting procedures to fast-track her snap-back process, and it worked. However, she always thought her mental and physical recovery would happen immediately after pushing out her baby.

Tiesi and Cannon reportedly met through a mutual friend over a decade ago and made a formal introduction on “Wild ‘N Out,” after which they began their relationship. The 43-year-old was present at Tiesi’s home birth and even cut Legendary’s umbilical cord.

One and done or not, Bre Tiesi has come a long way in her motherhood journey, and things are surely looking up for the real estate expert!
