Skye Sunshine has a theory that workmen, when in your house, should be seen and not heard.

But Saul, the annoyingly sexy handyman clearly hasn’t received the memo! He’s far too cheeky and irritating for her liking.

But when Skye’s peace of mind and reputation as an actress is threatened by hacks desperate for a story, can she really afford to turn down Saul’s offer – to whisk her away from the limelight to the privacy of his rustic cabin in the woods?

Oh Skye! I love Skye! A story and a half for her. This book has a different feel to it, as we saw a fleeting glance from Maddy but apart from none of the other girls show up. It can be read as a standalone but I would definitely read Rori’s book first, especially to meet Saul!

An actress in hiding, being blackmailed, hiding in the woods. What could happen? Love that’s what!

Like always I blitz through these books and I am always bereft when I finish, I could easily sit and read all day every day, something by Rosie. I love her writing is such a delight, that it could be an addictive soap you are watching. I’m never bored, or speeding to the end, although I do read them too quickly!!!!

I adore this series and I have found a couple of the books I’ve missed so I have more Duck Pond café to read and I’m so happy about this!

Skye is a strong woman, but she has a softer side and a self-doubting side. She can’t see the star that she really is. I adored her and her sarcastic side, she was my kind of person! Despite being slightly high maintenance at the start, she knows her own mind!

It was great to see her past and to learn more about what was mentioned in the previous book.

I can’t wait to read about Blossom, her new love and the adventure she is going to go on to find her dad!

Until the next time xxx

About Rosie Green

Rosie Green has been scribbling stories ever since she was little. Back then they were rip-roaring adventure tales with a young heroine in perilous danger of falling off a cliff or being tied up by ‘the baddies’. Thankfully, Rosie has moved on somewhat, and now much prefers to write romantic comedies that melt your heart and make you smile, with really not much perilous danger involved at all, unless you count the heroine losing her heart in love.

Rosie’s brand new series of novellas is centred on life in a village café. Summer at The Little Duck Pond Café, published on 18th June 2018, follows the first in the series, Spring at The Little Duck Pond Café.
