Legendary singer-songwriter and musician, Bob Dylan, last toured in 2019 before the pandemic; however, he is now back and ready with a new tour that is set to debut in the US in November.
Tickets for the concerts are going to go quickly. They will go on sale beginning Friday Oct. 1, and it is highly suggested to purchase tickets as soon as possible. Dylan’s first concert will be in Milwaukee on Nov. 2. The final show will be in Washington, DC. Five of the concerts will be in New York.
The US tour is the first leg of all the concerts. Dylan will be performing his shows internationally until 2024, which gives many of his fans from around the world the opportunity to see him perform live.
During the pandemic, Dylan had a well-received virtual concert entitled Shadow Kingdom. Rhian Daly, a reporter for NME, described the show as the following: “Instead of beaming us into the future, Shadow Kingdom takes into the smoky recesses of the past – both in its setting (it begins in a black-and-white club in a wooden hut before moving to other locations) and in the setlist, which draws from mostly deep-cuts from his ‘60s and ‘70s releases.”
Rough and Rowdy Ways is the artist’s first studio album in eight years. It features the singles “False Prophet”, “I Contain Multitudes” and “Murder Most Foul”-which landed No. 1 on the US Billboard Music chart. Many music critics have suggested that his latest album is one of the best in his catalogue.
