Betting On The Boy Next Door by Melanie Jacobson is the first book I’ve read by Jacobson. It’s a contemporary romance. Written from a dual perspective.
Josh is the new next-door neighbor to Sammi.Sammi has kept the secret of being a night-time singer.Josh finds out and keeps Sammi’s secret. Sammi agrees to fake date Josh to help him as well.They develop feelings for each other.
The idea of the storyline was good.The pace of the book felt slow at times.I will read more by Melanie Jacobson. I want to see if I enjoy the other books in the series more.I rate Betting On The Boy Next Door a 4 out of 10.
