Beating the old rich guys at their own game. The stock market stop trading the stock Robinhood and young investors learned the game. This is a good thing. We need to get our young people involved in the stock market. Now they are hooked for sure those that made money will never forget this experience and our free market will never be the same. We will have a lot of new investors. My experience with the market is similar but I did not know to sell. I had stock named Movie pass and the first day I bought I put thousand two days later that $1000 had gone up 13,000 and I thought I hit a gold mine. I was using the wrong metric I was treating a horrible stock like it was gold. They had no path to profit when AMC refused to work with movie pass and they failed because of that. AMC control 50% of movie-making profits. AMC took their ideal and gave it to the customers themselves. I was chasing the beast on that one and the stock went down and it closed out completely. I lost money on it because I was waiting on a big payday. So what I have said to young people yes you can make money shorting the stock. But like Warren Buffet said, if you can not have it there for 10 years don’t put in there 10 min. Look at the company you do business with, If it has strong fundamentals for future growth like Tesla, Nio, Microsoft, and Amazon, and other great companies do the reading about the company see where they are going. And think of stock like you are building your own business. You would not open your business Monday and close Friday for good. Be smart and keep learning about this world, it is a place if you start young you might be the next Warren Buffet one day. Trading is fine but be responsible and keeping things real in the market. Make your money and keep it going. The stocks I mentioned I am long with them.
