The original Avatar film from 2009 has been re-released in theaters as the highly anticipated sequel will make its debut before the end of the year.
After the credits of the 2009 film, there is a trailer for the new movie. Tickets are already on sale for the sequel.
One fan noted to the Edinburgh News, “Just saw the re-release of Avatar and I’m glad I stayed because I saw some scenes from Avatar: The Way of Water and it was soooo good. I can’t wait for December!”
According to Disney, the Avatar sequel is “set more than a decade after the events of the first film, Avatar: The Way of Water begins to tell the story of the Sully family (Jake, Neytiri, and their kids), the trouble that follows them, the lengths they go to keep each other safe, the battles they fight to stay alive, and the tragedies they endure.”
Avatar: The Way of Water will make its debut on December 16, 2022.
