A white man walking around with a rifle does not bring up any red flags and this mess is no joke.
“Law enforcement agencies are searching for the suspect; evidence of a firearm has been recovered,” the city said. “Numerous law enforcement officers are responding and have secured a perimeter around downtown Highland Park.”
The shooting happened “in the area of the Independence Day parade route,” the Lake County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement posted to Twitter.
Illinois State Police also responded to the scene, “assisting Highland Park PD with an active shooter situation,” according to a statement the agency tweeted
The suspect is a white male with dark hair. 18 to 20 years old wearing blue T-shirts, 6 are dead from this shooting. This is from the hate we have built in this country. We are all American no matter our race but people don’t know this. 24 people are transported to the hospital. This is full of white supremacists that are mad as hell. Our country did this under the Obama and Trump presidency is full of heat. They are sure he was shooting from a roof. He was considered armed and dangerous and know this they will bring him in alive unless he takes his own life. He is not a black man, white privilege is real the shooter will survive this.
