Art distinguishes itself from other art;visual art, a visual object or experience consciously created through an expression of skill or imagination. The right terminology of art includes diverse media such as ceramics, drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, design, crafts, photography, video, filmmaking, and architecture. The primarily visual in nature, such as these definitions not to be taken too strictly, also included within the visual arts that are the applied arts such as industrial design, graphic design, fashion design, interior design, and decorative art. From there on it includes fine art as well as applied, decorative arts and crafts. Before the Arts and Crafts Movement in Europe, for instance, the term ‘artist’ was often limited to a person working in the fine arts and not craft or applied art media.#. Only the art schools made a distinction between the fine arts and the crafts that could not be considered a practitioner of the arts.

What about the key concept of trend. The art industry is one of the most changing sectors in modern societies. What is coming next and what are the reasonable predictions for 2021, based on 2020 information? Can we predict the future, maybe it is time to talk about possible trends in the art industry. How about art galleries? The art galleries and museums introduced or improved their online viewing rooms, but the aesthetic experience is not complete. Both kinds of institutions will reopen as soon as possible. But do they offer “real” and tangible experience to the public? What about physical visits, celebrated visits? The answer is apparent. The small brick-art galleries struggle to keep up with the fixed costs while not being able to host exhibitions and go to fairs. Do we create a picture of an empty hallway with low light and ceiling?

The world capital cities boasts sometimes over 170 museums, many of which are free. It means that there’s something to suit every interest and the frequently changing exhibitions, meaning that there are not even two visits that are ever the same. But what about now? There is a pandemia and global Covid19 danger after all.  From classical to contemporary works by era-defining artists and movement-making revolutionaries to high-tech immersive experiences with visual effects and different virtual realities, there are inspiring artists of the next generation helping their own hometown or city’s creative scene to flourish. There must be you somewhere out there, ready to submit your art, ready to break all possible established boundaries and artistic limitations.
