In a recent report published by the St. Louis Post Dispatch, Missouri has one of the highest economic growth rates due to arts-related commerce in the country.
The U.S. Commerce Department released data that indicates Missouri’s economy grew by at least 12.6 percent in 2015, and has the potential go higher if arts and cultural organizations continue to grow beyond their current rate. This added $11.1 billion dollars to Missouri’s economy and over 90,000 jobs.
