2025 Miami University Young Painters Competition

Miami University announces a call to artists for a juried art exhibition, January 27 – March 14, 2025 at the Hiestand Galleries in Oxford, OH. $10,000 Yeck Purchase Award; $2500 Second Place; $2000 Third Place. Juror: Alexis Rockman. Year 2025 is for Representational Realism Painting. U.S. Artists, aged 25- 35 are eligible. All works submitted must be available for the Yeck Purchase Award. The Yeck Award recipient’s work becomes part of the Miami University 21st Century Collection of Painting and Sculpture. $25 entry fee. Deadline: September 27, 2024. More info. Art by the Foot

Center for the Visual Arts in Wausau, WI seeks entries for an upcoming art exhibition, October 30 – December 21, 2024. $1200 in Cash Awards. Awards for juror choice will be given at the reception on November 15, 2024. Peoples Choice Awards will be announced in the final week of the exhibit. Art by the Foot is an annual juried art show of small works, measuring 12in or smaller in dimension. 100 works of art in various mediums will be accepted. $30 entry fee, $15 for students. 15th Annual Manifest Prize

The Cincinnati based non-profit arts organization and gallery, Manifest, invites visual artists and designers to submit original works of art in any media, any genre/style, any size for consideration to be awarded this year’s Manifest Prize. One work will be selected for the $5,000 award, featured in the gallery, and published. Four semi-finalist works will also be recognized, published, and awarded $250 each. The Bennett Prize 4.0 Call for Entries Now Open

Steven Alan Bennett and Dr. Elaine Melotti Schmidt, founders of The Bennett Collection, are pleased to announce a call for entries for The Bennett Prize, a biennial award that seeks to propel the careers of women figurative realist painters who have not yet realized full professional recognition, empowering new artists and those who have painted for many years. We’re excited to share that we have an all women jury this year. 10 Finalists will participate in a traveling exhibition organized by the Muskegon Museum of Art. 2024 Developed Work – National Photography Fellowship Competition

The Midwest Center for Photography in Wichita, KS seeks entries for a juried photography exhibition, November 1-29, 2024. $200 Developed Work Fellowship Award and one year artists representation at MWCP online. Juror: Linda Robinson, Gallery Director. The exhibition will feature current and relevant work of national photographers that help define the pulse of contemporary photography. CNL Projects, LK Architecture and the City of Wichita invite artists and artist teams with a demonstrated history of completing complex, permanent, outdoor public art projects (and/or other relevant experiences) to submit their qualifications for one of three public art commissions for a $592,000 Arkansas River Public Art Project.
