Obscura 3 and iOS 15 Improves Image Quality

Apple devices are known for their excellent image and video quality. Various devices, ranging from tablets to computers, all feature strong photo and video apps as well as editing software like iMovie. It is now possible to take selfies in high quality and even develop a feature film. The technology within Apple products is stellar, and many creatives are using the company’s hardware and software to develop and distribute art.

Apple’s Camera app is a first-party solution that can be for everyday use or complex photography projects. Some artists have maximized the use of their budgets by photographing and filming in this app and the associated ones for video. This directly translates into saving producers money because they may not need an extravagant setting in order to tell the story in their films.

Apple products also run many third-party solutions that can be found in the App Store, some of them brining new innovations in the ways in which they use camera lenses.

Obscura has been a third-party solution for Apple products since 2015. The latest version, Obscura 3, was developed by Ben Rice McCarthy, Adam K. Schmidt and Sara Lovic. Obscura 3 released on February 17 at $9.99 in the App Store.

Obscura 3 has a redesigned gallery view, video capture, layouts and the ability to control all of the camera lenses. It also has the ability to rate your photos, attach each file with a geospatial location, and a new sorting feature. Many tech reviewers are ecstatic about the new exposure feature that controls light and dark qualities on film. Obscura 3 is probably the best Apple solution for images and videos. With the new upgrades, it makes it easier for creatives to make their content, archive it into albums and use it for editing purposes. The developers of Obscura 3 plan to generate new upgrades to the software throughout its lifecycle, it will continue to make the app one of the most accessible, creative solutions for iOS users.
