Sometimes a movie comes along and speaks to the heart of your pain. American Skin just from the trailer sent chills down my spine. We as Black people have been taught that nonviolence is the only way to get our rights. How did that work for Martin Luther King? It did not our country is built on violence. The cold wars Americans are responsible for around the globe keeping the mess going. Funding wars in small and large countries. It is time that black people see a change in America. The George Floyd murder sparked the nation but will it bring change? I think no, America only respects violence. With that said black men continue to die by police shootings unarmed. Police see black people men, women, and children as the enemy. Black people can do nothing to end racism in America it only up to our white brothers and sisters. And you see how that went when they rallied around 17-year-old thug Kyle Rittenhouse that killed two white men and raised 2 million dollars bond for him-our country is ill.
Trump has brought out the worst in us not being able to be branded as a loser he has to lie and say he won the Election this is the saddest thing; people really believe in Trump and that he does not lie and everything he does is for the American people. It will be 500,000 Americans dead because he was too arrogant to wear a mask he did not look good in it. The country will not recover from this. We are going to feel the ramifications of this one for a long time. The Republicans have handed their soul over to this man. No, he is the head of their party until he dies. He will pick the republicans they will all have to have his blessings. All Trump wants is his own network so he can keep spreading his lies. He will get it. 72 million People just gave it to him. God help us, he does not have enough in him to say he lost the election he has to stick with this story. Trump lies enough to the American people that his lies are true to his party.
This movie is going to open up a lot of conversation about police reform-God knows we need it. I hope Biden does make some real change. He is white and male, he can move the nation at least half of them in the right direction. Biden had 80 million votes. Trump should be happy about the results he moved 80 million people to the polls to get him out of office. He should proud he had that kind of impact.
