Al Pacino to Sign Book Deal with Penguin Random House

A legendary actor. Someone known for excellence. A familiar Hollywood star looking to share his thoughts in a new medium. Al Pacino has worked on many projects in film and he’s now ready to share his thoughts on his life and career with fans and readers around the world. The Godfather actor is in the final stages of negotiating a book deal with Penguin Random House.

Media outlets have confirmed that Pacino’s book is tentatively scheduled to be managed by the same team at Penguin that worked on Will Smith’s 2021 memoir, Will.

The actor published a book in 2006 entitled Al Pacino: In Conversation with Lawrence Grobel, a series of talks over 25 years between the star and the journalist/celebrity biographer.

The 82-year-old actor will undoubtedly cover decades of history and knowledge about his life. It would be interesting to read commentary on how his growing up in East Harlem and the Bronx shaped his perspective. He graduated from the famous High School of Performing Acts and trained at the Actors Studio.

It would also be great if he could provide a behind-the-scenes look into the way he approached the arts with his popular film projects like The Godfather, Dog Day Afternoon, Scarface, Heat, Scent of a Woman, Carlito’s Way, Donnie Brasco, Ocean’s Thirteen and The Irishman.
