Ray Stevenson is an Irish actor who starred in movies like Punisher: War Zone, the Thor films and HBO TV series Rome and the Ahsoka series Variety has confirmed with his publicist that the actor died in Italy on Sunday at the age of 58.
A cause of death has not yet been revealed.
Stevenson was born in Ireland on May 25, 1964. He got his start in 90s Irish television before becoming a Hollywood star in the 2000s. His breakout film role was in 2004’s King Arthur, where he played Dagonet-one of the Knights of the Round Table.
He recently appeared in the Oscar-nominated blockbuster RRR where he played the orle of Governor Scott Buxton.
He is set to appear in Disney’s Ahsoka as a Jedi named Baylan Skoll who turns to the dark side.
