OK, there’s a lot to say about Katy Perry’s performance before she accepted the award for the Video Vanguard Award, but her fiancé Orlando Bloom’s reaction to the medley of songs is really something else.
Bloom was watching like an old man who had never seen his wife perform ever in life. MTV perfectly captured his reaction while Perry performed with newcomer Doechii. The duo looked like they were just about to kiss — as Doechii was positioned atop Katy Perry in a backbend. Meanwhile, Bloom is watching like he’s never seen girl-on-girl action before in his life.
There was also kind of a glimmer of relief that Doechii and Katy actually didn’t kiss. I really want to know what was going through Bloom’s mind when Doechii was shaking her ass in front of Katy. Especially since we all know he loves a good butt — and apparently, Perry does too.
